The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is a research library and historic property that supports research, teaching, exhibitions, and public programming.

Visiting the Historic Library

The Clark does not currently offer regular public tours of the historic library building. The best way to experience the Clark is by attending one of our public programs, including lectures, concerts, exhibitions, and other special events. We encourage you to visit our Events webpage for upcoming opportunities to visit.

Please note that access to the Reading Room for research does not include a tour of, or general access to, the historic library building.

If public tours or other visiting opportunities become available in the future, they will be announced on this page.

Private Events and Bookings

The Clark Library and its grounds are not available for private bookings, rentals, or private events.

The Library and grounds are primarily used for research, teaching, exhibitions, and programming organized by the Clark Library and the UCLA Center for 17th- & 18th-Century Studies.
