Searching our Collections

The UCLA Library online catalog is the best place to begin a search for materials in the Clark’s collections. Read our search tutorial for more information. Please note that the holdings of the entire UCLA Library system are included.

For manuscript collections, such as those of Oscar Wilde and Eric Gill, search the Clark’s finding aids in the Online Archive of California. Catalog records for other types of manuscripts—including bound as well as miscellaneous items—appear in the UCLA Library online catalog and in the card catalog at the Clark. Some Clark printed materials are not yet in the online catalog, so researchers should check the printed card catalog at the library as well. For more detailed information about discovering our collections, see the Research Guide.
