Hours and Directions
The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library’s reading room is currently open only to UCLA students, staff, and faculty with valid Bruincards. Due to both limited hours and seating arrangements a reservation is required.
Reading room availability will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4pm. Appointments can be made up to one month ahead of your visit and we request at least a two-week lead time in order to page materials.

The Clark Library is easily accessible from the 10 freeway, Arlington Ave exit. If you are coming from points west, such as UCLA’s main campus or LAX, turn right onto Arlington Ave, left onto 25th St, and right onto Cimarron. If you are coming from points east, such as Downtown or Pasadena, turn left onto Arlington Ave, left onto 25th St, and right onto Cimarron. Our large gate on Cimarron is well marked.
Free parking is available on site.
On public transportation
The Line 37 bus travels east and west along Adams Boulevard—from downtown LA to Culver City— and stops right next to the Clark at Cimarron Street.
From the Metro D Line (Purple) rail station on Wilshire and Western catch either Line 207 or the Express Line 757 travelling south to Adams Blvd. From the Metro E Line (Expo) rail station at Expo and Western catch either Line 207 or the Express Line 757 travelling north to Adams Blvd. From Adams Blvd. you can either transfer to the 37 Line, the local DASH bus, or walk three blocks headed west to Cimarron Street.
